When Access Becomes Hope: A Call to Support the Pad a Girl Project in Ajebo

Seeking
Collaboration

For weeks now, I’ve been asking. Quietly. Sometimes boldly. Sometimes with my heart in my throat. I’ve been searching for someone anyone who can connect me to a sanitary pad company willing to partner with us on the Pad a Girl Project in Ajebo community, or even offer pads at a discounted price. Not for profit. Not for branding alone. But so we can reach the girls who need this now.
Our project day is approaching fast. And with every passing day, I think about the girls we’re trying to reach girls who miss school because of their periods, girls who improvise with unsafe materials, girls who carry shame for something that should never be a burden.
This project means everything to me because I’ve seen what a lack of menstrual support does. It limits confidence. It interrupts education. It quietly pushes girls out of classrooms and into cycles they didn’t choose.
A partnership or a discount may seem small from the outside. But to us, it means more girls reached, more dignity restored, more futures protected. If you know a pad company. If you work with one. If you are one. Please join me. Sometimes impact doesn’t start with money. Sometimes it starts with access. And sometimes, it starts with one person saying, “I can help. If this speaks to you, please reach out. Let’s make sure no girl in Ajebo is left behind simply because her period showed up.
