My personal vision for my life, community and/or the world
To acquire knowledge, skills and develop positive attitude that makes me a reliable resourceful person adding value to lives of thousand of disadvantage people especially the down trodden women and children.

I envision a community/ world where each person counts regardless of his or her socio-economic status, a community that offers equal opportunity to all and endeavors to uplift the disadvantaged group.

I am envisioning a world as seen and managed through the eyes of the women. Women are closest to the happening of this world. They bare the blunt of catastrophes and are largely left out in the main stream decision making.

How being a Correspondent will help me achieve my vision?
Through exchange of ideas, experiences and travels, one is able to build capacities to bring about positive change to the community. Being a correspondent offers such an opportunity as one is engaging in research and being in constant touch with reality. Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes are long life experiences that constantly need to be refreshed and updated.

I believe through being a correspondent, I will be challenged even further to produce local magazines focusing girls/women in my community. Another World pulse is possible in my little small village.

Why I want to be a Correspondent for World Pulse
World Pulse offers unique platform to Inform, Empower and Transform thousands of girls/women lives. Girls Empowerment is at the centre of my personal core responsibility. I want to share with the community/world experiences and learning moments in the empowerment process of women. I Want for instance to share how, I managed to convince my brothers that our sisters need to inherit property. To date, my sisters have received land allocation just like us the boys.
Through world pulse, innovate approaches of giving women voices are discussed and shared. I want to share how sports for example have given girls voice. Hundred of girls accessing education through sports in Kenya

World Pulse offers exposure and mentoring to new and modern social communication tools that have big impact to the lives of girls/ women. These are important tools that a correspondent needs in order to function in a modern world.

World Pulse carries with it my vision of empowering girls/women and that being my main focal area; it is the main reason why I want to be a correspondent for it.
