Value of being focused

I got opportunity last year in month of June to attend CIP training at Mumbai. It was seven days programme. There were other 22 strong women from different  parts of state of Maharashtra. I was excited to learn more about leadership. During all those sections i was very attentive. Abha and Tanya were our trainers. Both of them were very knowledgeable and had very excellent ways of teachingV. whatever they taught about leadership was everything new for me. All most all the sections helped me to be more become more internalized. I realized my strengths ,weakness. I have learned how to overcome those weakness. The most important elements  this workshop gave me was how to see the VISION and How to set up a GOALS of my project work. My organization runs 8 different  projects and i never had set up a vision and goals for those. This workshop made me realize that how disorganized I was. I was working since many years without vision and specific goals ,i felt guilty because lots of many were spend on the projects but there was not much impact. During the workshop when Abha and Tanya were teaching about vision , goals ,I was becoming restless because i was realizing that i had made lots of mistakes. As soon as i went back to Kolhapur the next day i talked with my organizations team and planned for the two days workshop for them.  I shared what i learned in CIP workshop with my team. With teams participation we set up every of our programms Vision and Goals. Even my team realized this activity or workshop should have been done much earlier. The CIP workshop made me very focused about the work. I was very disorganized, but just due to CIP's intervention I am able to bring changes in my work. I have become more focused in my project work and i could see the changes. My effective work strategies and proper methods of work reduced my stress of work. I feel very confident now, I am very effective while dealing with government officers because I am very specific and focused what I want from their departments. The CIP workshop made me focused that has brought all positive changes in me.
