<p>The Minister of Health, Maria Isabel Rodriguez, in a brave stance against a ruling by El Salvador's highest court stated that she was determined to save Beatriz's life in any way possible, including induced labor.  A c-section is due to be scheduled this week to save Beatriz's life; however, the law remains and many more women like Beatriz will continue to be subjected to what is the equivalent of a death sentence.</p>
