the Power of Words

look like the innocent flower...

I love words, it helps me give my thoughts vision to share with you. While I can see my thoughts as like a movie in my own head, I love words to help me bring that to you as well. One of my all time favorite quotes by Shakespeare is:

this quote picture is from an article in Medium: https://medium.com/@carolcannon52/what-macbeth-taught-me-0f3181d28137 (an interesting read in itself!)

What this quote means to means to me, an elder of the Unangax Peoples, is difficult to explain in one sentence. We have what is called a "world view" where everything is tied to everything else so effecting one may effect others as well, and we take that into account. "Seem" is a word I wrote about here ages ago and I will try it find the link so you can go read it if interested. One thing is true, everywhere and for everyone is that "not everything is as it seems".

This full pic shows my daughters creating an ai image of how I like to portray myself, as a magical being, fairy-like and holding my roses and snake. Snake is wisdom, I became a wise woman for my Peoples awhile ago, quietly but dutifully. Wise woman does not mean I know everything, it means I know enough about the world, connections, Peoples to find what I need to understand better...

One point I wanted to make came to me as I compared the smaller version we see as a header to the story and the full picture above. Sometimes we catch a beautiful glimpse and want to seek more. Sometimes we catch that glimpse and think we know everything to know about someone. Sometimes we catch that glimpse and misinterpret what we are seeing. I mean this for my writing, in case I did not explain that clearly before!

I try to make each word count. I always try to keep what others may see as compared to what i see... It often happened to me in book clubs that when we were reading the same book I got a completely different story then the rest of my group. So know it is important to get feedback when I can to see my words as others do!

I dont really want to join some random book review group though, I want it to be either a sci fi / fantasy group or on here where we woman have a goal and purpose that we share... My daughters tell me that getting as wide an audience as possible is important. But to me, those who choose my books are either sci fi /fantasy / mild horror lovers like me or other woman wanting to support me. My idea is to bring them to my world!

My "mission" these is to end the ongoing indigenous genocide of my whole half of the world. It means a lot to me, so if you find a part you hate or love, let me know! thanks so much everyone!
