The Burden of Being Kind- A Hidden Pain

My Dearest World Pulse Readers,

I know it’s been months since you’ve heard a story from me But, here is the truth is, I’ve been fighting a silent war—with my own life. No proper work-life balance, shattered harmony with peers, inequality from leadership, and constant backlash have turned my world upside down. I’ve felt the weight of it all without a shoulder to lean on.

Literally No one, I am left to sail alone i couldn't focus on my work, goals etc... the one thing is used to do is cry all the night and pretend all day that nothing has happened strange right?

But today, I gathered the courage to write. Not just for me—but for everyone who has felt this pain. Because what I’m going through isn’t just my story—it’s something many women and men silently endure every day.

One day, when I finally quit my office and chose a new career path, leaving all the past behind, everything seemed to be going just fine—until I came across a reel that hit me really hard and pushed me to share my story here on the World Pulse platform.

Are you wondering what it was about?

Well, on a random day, after completing all my training sessions and wrapping up work, I was scrolling through Instagram reels when I came across a podcast where a woman said,

“No one really cares about your mental health until it turns into anger and frustration—and then suddenly, you’re the bad person, and people start judging you.”

These line's hit me so deeply, because it’s the truth.

It reminded me of a moment when I was being perceived as rude—and a colleague even yelled at me for it. But I’m not rude. Maybe my mistake was that I gave people the liberty to speak freely with me. But that doesn’t mean they can say whatever they want, irritate me, and take my kindness for granted.

That day, I had a terrible morning. I was sad, silent, and just minding my own business. But one of my colleagues kept irritating me with his words and responses. I was already frustrated, and I finally burst out.

But what happened next? Another colleague yelled at me, saying,

If our boss had seen this, he would have given you left and right! This is an office, not your home to yell like that. You’re being very rude.”

I replied,

“He’s the one who started it. I didn’t like the way he spoke. I responded quite respectfully at first.”

But she yelled again,

“It’s your mistake. You gave him the liberty—and now you have to face it."

So yes, maybe I came across as mean—but for me, it was just an outburst. Before that moment, I was never rude to anyone. I was always soft, gentle, and understanding. But sometimes, people push you so far that you’re forced to become someone you’re not.

They made me that way—through constant disrespect, by crossing boundaries I never approved, and by mistaking my kindness for weakness.

And yet, I couldn’t say much. I chose silence over conflict. Because in the end, no one really wants to hear your side when you’re finally reacting. They only see your outburst, not the storms that led to it.

But I’m not here to play the victim. I’m here to take my power back. That reel reminded me that my story matters. And maybe someone, somewhere, will read this and realize they’re not alone.

To anyone who feels unheard, misjudged, or broken by the weight of silent battles—please know this: your emotions are valid, and your voice deserves to be heard. Don’t let the world shame you for reaching your limit.

If my story resonates with you, I invite you to share yours too. Let’s break the silence together—one story at a time.

with lots of love to my world pulse members
