Signs from Nature that we are on right path

I often feel frustrated at how slowly we are bringing about change, how it can feel I am running into walls no matter which way I turn. It rarely happens but at times I do feel despair.

Like no matter how hard I try, there is no Hope left... at these times I ask my Goddess (we have a volcano goddess and an Ice goddess for my Peoples, why I am both fire and ice :p ) to please give me a sign I am on the right path and she always answers.

I was in the living room at my desk in the corner trying to find a way to raise money for a business loan to start my fiber studio company and feeling helpless and hopeless. So, as I always do, i asked my goddess to show me a sign I am on the right path.

At that exact moment I heard the weirdest sound ever! It was coming from my front yard and I looked out and it was cranes! Cranes are a sign from the heavens. I have pics on my phone but not on my computer, I will have my daughter add them and send them to my email so I can post them.

My heart soared once again and I was full of Hope. One of my daughters walked up behind me when she heard the sounds. She asked me why I felt despair and I said just at how slowly things are going and how I feel powerless. We watched the cranes for a bit.

The next day our neighbor stopped my daughter (the neighbor is indigenous too) and was excited about the cranes on my lawn and said it was a sign! She was happy it cheered others too besides just us.

For awhile I have been planning my shaman-ish outfit. I believe I am more sorceress then shaman, slightly different magic is all I think but both working for good. I decided right then and there while standing at the window to make my clothes in the crane's colors!

The way I view it is I am meant to do major healing, first for my People, then the world. I forget where this pic came from, if we did the ai for fun or if it was on the page and I liked it. My friends think ai is very fun to play with so we often "train" it to create indigenous images so they pop up all over ;p

That wont be exactly what mine looks like, but it was crane's coloring. I think mine will have just a plain grey sheath dress as a base, then I will nuno felt the robe to go over it and embellish it with what feels right. I know I love dangle bits so think I will have a good time praying love and wisdom into each piece I make for it.

I never think we should impose our believes onto others, so please do not think I am trying to sway you to my goddesses! But we should talk about it openly and freely so it becomes the norm. As far as my outfit, I want to seem powerfully spiritual and maybe a little dangerous for messing with my tribe! :p But do not worry, I am not about hate in any form! I believe the world needs healing and compassion.

I am most excited to learn to make a hand held drum and a staff! how awesome it will be when I complete it. Not that I need it, but it will be fun to wear at the very least :p
