Lucile was born on November 6th 1967 to Benson Schaeffer & Danna Schaeffer. During her days she was a model and an actress who landed a role in the CBS comedy My Sister Sam.

In 1989 she was killed by a man in cold blood. A man reportedly known as Robert John Bardo. Beautiful Lucile Schaeffer was shot at her home and by a so called "fan". Her killer had an unhealthy obsession for her, to him Lucile, was his and she belonged to him. His statement after he saw her play a couple of love scenes. " She belongs to him, and is supposed to remain innocent for himself, if he couldn't have her alive he would eventually possess her even in death".

Between 1986 and 1988 she became an icon and gained so much recognition, in which her fan base grew exponentially. She was also the face of covergirl in the 1987 issue & went on to star in several other movies. She then got her herself an opportunity to star in the soap opera One life to live, amongst other opportunities.
