NINI MAPPO FOR 2020 WORLD PULSE SPIRITS AWARD

From the very first time she commented on one of my posts, I fell in love with her ability to speak passionately on any issue. She shared are views on sexual abuse and I was blown away.

Nini Mappo is not only an educator and a mentor; https://www.worldpulse.com/community/users/ninim  but a believer in the sisterhood and she shows it in her stories and as an educator, she uses these stories to mentor women on leadership and empowerment.

Once again, her stories do not only enlighten but they awaken us to the reality of the future of women and children in the world if actions are not taken towards gender equality and women empowerment. Her story on breast ironing;  https://www.worldpulse.com/community/users/ninim/posts/97291

Was a real eye-opener to the future of women and it was moving. It sparked my attention to an issue which I and am sure a lot of women had never taken time to think through. This is what the World Pulse sisterhood is all about.

Nini engaged me to think deeply about aspects of women lifestyle that seem somewhat ignorable. In this post; https://www.worldpulse.com/community/users/suzan/posts/96456 her comment was though-provoking to the issue of silence in violation and this is what spurred my idea to write on the topic of GBV SURVIVORS. https://www.worldpulse.com/community/users/suzan/posts/97614

So, as a sister who shares a passion for using the pen to tell stories on community issues as I do, I nominate her for the 2020 WORLD PULSE SPIRITS AWARD because she is a true role model for women who want to emancipate and young girls who are looking for a mentor to mould them.

NINI GOOD LUCK!
