Naya's Dream: A book, a tool to promote female leadership and women empowerment

On the 20th of December 2025, the book "Naya's Dream, The Rising Son of Mbatu" was launched by Doctor Solange Swiri Tumasang 🌟. This book launch brought together stakeholders to think of ways to promote female leadership in Cameroon. This book is not just a book, it's a tool for promoting female leadership, women empowerment, and gender equality in Cameroon.

The initiative, supported by Authentic Lead and the Doctor Tumasang Swiri Foundation, aims to reach over five thousand young girls in twenty-twenty-six with copies of this book 📚. The goal is to get this book into schools, community centers, women empowerment centers, bookshops, and youth groups - anywhere young people can read Naya's story and get inspired.

"Naya's Dream" tells the story of a young girl, Naya, who dared to ask questions in a world where women were expected to stay silent 🤔. Niya grew up in a community with limitations on women, facing limited opportunities, gender-based violence, lack of economic empowerment opportunities, early marriages, and underdevelopment. But Naya had a dream to change things for girls and women.

Winning a scholarship and getting to the city for further education was a game-changer for Naya 🌈. She returned to her community years later to help change things for women and girls, bringing development and hope.

This is a story of courage, determination, and resilience will inspire young girls to dream big and never give up 💪. Despite obstacles, Naya fought against the odds and realized her dreams. The book aims to motivate girls to know their dreams are achievable.
