Dear Great Team of Women Leaders, Marriage means a togetherness to exercise the powers of both male and female. Currently what is happening in marriage? The marriage ritual in most of the communities is sending a woman to the man's family. All rituals of marriage is designed like that. There should be a standardized system of marriage irrespective of community, caste or creed. Marriage is still a burden for girl's family. This is one of the reason, why the girls are not given respect in the family where they born. We need to change the system. The approach towards marriage shall be changed. It should be a common event, without the influence of caste related rituals. The govt. registration only should be entertained in marriages. Lot of change will happen through this, especially in girl's family.
