Legally Blind Art

Seeing through my eyes of Blindness
Seeing through my eyes of Blindness

I am legally blind, & during COVID-19, I had ro stop workibg, so to fill some if my time,  I started to draw again, which had been decades since I last drew. I was diagnosed Type I Diabetic when I was 13 years of age, and by the time I was 30, I  was diagnosed with Diabetic Retinopathy. Within the last 6 months, I was diagnosed with a second eye disease, Macular Degeneration. I don’t know how long I will be able to keep what vision I  have before becoming totally blind, although I  will continue to draw until that time comes.  In order to draw, I have to wear super-magnified glasses & be very close to the paper or item that I am drawing on, about 2-3 “ close. Now, I don’t really consider myself an artist by any means, although, I do believe we all have something to give & share with one another, no matter what your age is. I  love to doodle, draw flowers & funny lil' critter with BIG eyeballs, and even write poetry at times. I  draw for fun & relaxation, peac & tranquility.  I paint on rocks, draw on  sketch pads, and doodle on cards and notes. I hope you enjoy my art.
