IS THAT COURSE OR JOB MARKETABLE?

A very very common question we get from people, especially the young ones, who are still searching for a guide. Trying to find a way to their dream job or school.     I would say, it's really sad how we as parents or guardians advice our children when it comes to finding success in life. We make them believe that a certain course or job holds a particular level of market in the industry and that must be a primary reason to go for it.  Do you really understand why there is very poor services at work places? Why we are having high rate of toxic work environments? Lack of personal development yet someone has worked for 20 years on the same field?

Well yeah, it is because they were advised to go for a marketable course or job. Something that they did not have passion on and not even willing to grow or develop under. Now hear this, young one at home, after doing form 5, it is very important to know what you want to become in life. For you to know this, you have to know what you love from the bottom of your heart. Something you can do without being paid. Something that you will wake up to even when the previous day nearly killed you. Something that carries your identity and your calling. Yes, it is ok, to start off by maybe finding a financial support base, any kind of a job but that shouldn't stop you from finding you and becoming the best of you.

Stop wasting time and money by going to school to do courses that won't benefit you. It will be just a title of no works. Because here comes the reality of lack of employment, would you be able to generate income with that course you did? And here we may go again, there is retrenchments or losing your job.... are you going to be able to sustain yourself way forward financially?

That marketable job you chose you are going to get tired of it and not being productive and they are going to fire you. That marketable course you chose you are not going to get motivated to learn and you are going to get fail and discontinue and go back to the home yet you had an opportunity to do something that will source passion from you automatically and pass with flying colours and one step to the other knowing where you are heading, no matter how difficult it will get you are going to keep on pushing until you achieve what you want. It is not about the course or the job being marketable, is about you, are you marketable?

Well, i am just a Healthcare Assistant, called to assist God's people who are in need... I assist the sick at my workplace, where I'm getting paid. I go beyond work environment in the community to assist those in need of various assistance, relating to social ills. From children, youth, elders and the elderly. With all that i am capable of, or what God has placed in my hands and mind (tangible and non-tangible stuff.) I speak and write to save a life. I give and embrace, i love, care and support to fulfill my assignment on earth. To receive joy and peace in eternity.

"Our assignment on this earth is to love..." Pastor Thuso Gaongalelwe

That job / field/ course / business you are choosing, are you going to love God's people tirelessly?
