Introducing myself and my journal: International Reproductive Health and Rights

About Me:
I am a graduate student in the International Health track of the Master's in Public Health program at Oregon State University. I am passionate about women's health, with a specific interest in reproductive health and rights. I hope to work abroad again in the future, advocating for family's access and education to a full range of reprodutive health services. When a woman is able to choose if and when she wants to have children, not only does she benefit by being given a greater opportunity to pursue her dreams and goals, but the entire community benefits as well by investing in the future of their young men and women.

I would love to hear from others who are interested in these same topics. I plan to do my internship abroad, possibly returning to Thailand where I served as a Peace Corps volunteer from 2004-06. Any and all professional connections I can make with others in a similar field or with similar interests would be much appreciated.
