Hello World Pulse community,
I began writing poems as a way to express my emotions—how I felt, what I dreamed of, and what I hoped for in life. Poetry became my safe space, a way to release my pain and transform it into words of hope.
I love my daughters and I love my husband. Despite the challenges and troubles I have faced, I have not allowed these problems to defeat me. Instead, I have used my experiences as lessons to grow stronger and to help other women and girls who may be going through similar struggles.
Over time, I have encouraged women to seek counseling and support. Sometimes, I sit with them to identify the root causes of the problems they face in their homes, and together we explore possible solutions. Through this work, I have referred women to the Family PNG and to the Office of Community Development (Social Service Sector), where they can access professional help and resources.
My journey has taught me that sharing our stories and supporting one another can bring healing and empowerment. I believe that by lifting each other up, we can overcome even the hardest challenges.
