Every woman is alike but in a different way.

When I was born my father didn’t welcomed me and said a word in our Pakistani regional language Hindqo “ay kurdroo agayi ye” which means “why a daughter” when my grandmother expressed me that I was not welcomed by my beloved father “the first infant born as a girl in the household”. I felt like something substantial like a metal hit my heart as a adolescent.

I would not say I am special but one of a kind. Every woman is distinct each female is different but some things that I found mostly common was a kind empathetic heart I found in every daughter. We are sensitive in our ways. We don’t need a big reason to overcome all the hardships but a mother for her child, a daughter for her father, a wife for her husband. When we truly love someone we are selfless.

When me and my sister were sitting in apartment and discussing why we are doing so much hard work day and night to sort money and why my aims are these aims? What is the reason behind all of this part time two jobs while managing our university degree?

After many speculations many discussion we got to one point and this simple answer was enough to make me feel how my gender was so special no less than a man. And we asked our brother the same question and his answer was like “my reason for this hard work and dedication to my work is to make billions in future, I want to have everything that me, my kids and my family deserve” and it was pretty reasonable for a man to answer this question like this.

But me and my sister again chuckled at his responses and smiled at each other because our answer was simple but very meaningful for us. And it was “I want my father to smile at me and say, I am proud of my daughter” just to hear these words. We were doing everything in the world. As in Pakistani Adults are dependent upon the family until graduation and some may be after that too. But when I sold my first blog in 19 years of my life, my father hugged me and said “you are my daughter” I sat there for 30 minutes just to see his happy face.

His eyes were shinning and a father who didn’t welcomed me once, was so proud to see his daughter. I thought this burden will be gone after hearing these words but no, I became greedier. I just wanted his appreciation I wanted to achieve more, something better than yesterday.

We woman are so alike, we need a little reason to reach a mile stone and we can change the world. Where men’ want to make money for themselves, our mindset works on making money for everyone in the society. We are alike because we want world a happy place and we are different because we have greatest strength inside us that we find a put it as a base to show our forte too the world.
