Empower a woman,elevate her.

Having had a chance to live in the rural parts of Mashonaland East Province in Zimbabwe I saw how women are marginalized and not able to voice out their opinions. Child marriage is the normal routine in that area many young girls don't even complete their Primary schooling. Sometimes it's due to lack of finances or parents not seeing the importance of awarding their girl child a right to education.

It's scary and disheartening to see a young girl around 12 or 13 years who still deserves to be a child herself experiencing life and learning how to make it in life mothering a child.

I believe these young girls and the women deserves more in life they need a chance to spread our their wings and be happy. Surviving should be more meaningful for them not having life robbed away from them.

I would like to believe that if we're to stand with them empower them with pertinent life skills they will be able to make something good out of their lives. At the end of the day it's all about making someone smile and see that there's more they can achieve in life and know they have someone who believes in them.

Given resources I would like to train these women and young girls basic skills including baking,cooking,braiding,events designing,digital marketing and making marula oil because the area has a lot of marula trees.

Those who fail to get funds to proceed with education can learn these skills and I am pretty convinced this will surely make a huge impact in their lives. At least they won't waste away their lives rather they will make the best out of it and be able to pass on the same knowledge to others in their community. By this we know we've impacted a change that will forever leave a mark.
