Hello World Pulse Sisters,
I’m truly honored to be part of this vibrant, powerful community of women changemakers. I joined World Pulse because I believe in the strength of shared voices—especially those of women who dare to dream, act, and create ripple effects in their communities. I hope to find solidarity, encouragement, and meaningful exchange here—to learn from others and contribute what I can from my own journey.
I’m passionate about education, equity, and storytelling. As an educator and researcher, I work closely with youth and communities to explore how knowledge and empathy can reshape lives. I'm also preparing to pursue a PhD in Development Studies, driven by my desire to deeply understand the structural forces that impact marginalized communities and to help create inclusive, sustainable change through research and policy.
My motivation comes from witnessing small but meaningful transformations—when a child grasps a new idea, when a woman speaks her truth, or when a story brings people closer. These moments keep me grounded and inspired.
I live in Bangladesh, a country rich in resilience, color, and culture. Despite its many challenges, what I love most about my community is its warmth, hospitality, and the ability to rise after every storm—both literal and metaphorical.
My name is Shubhaprakash, which means “Auspicious Light.” It was given to me by my parents with love and hope, and over the years, I’ve come to embrace it fully. It reminds me to carry light wherever I go—through my words, my work, and my actions.
Before I go, I’d love to ask:
What’s one challenge you’ve faced as a woman, and how did you find the strength to rise through it?
I look forward to hearing your stories and growing together in this powerful sisterhood.
With warmth and solidarity,
Shubhaprakash
