Beyond the Classroom: Nurturing Minds and Bodies at Pushpokoli School

At Sombhabona, we believe that education is more than just books and exams—it is about nurturing the whole child, both mentally and physically. That is why, every year, we organize a Sports Day for the incredible children of Pushpokoli School, ensuring they experience the joy of play, teamwork, and self-confidence.

These children come from Kalshi Slum, yet their dreams know no boundaries. They are bright, talented, and full of potential. Last month, at our Annual Sports Prize Giving Ceremony, over 200 students participated, showcasing not just their athletic abilities but also their unwavering spirit.

But their journey does not end with a race or a game. It continues in the classrooms, where we provide them with completely free education through our Sponsor a Child program. Every child deserves a chance to learn, to grow, and to build a future where poverty is no longer a barrier.
