Greetings my dear World Pulse members, I hope your day is amazing.
As the founder and operator of Queen Sheba Village, I have taken an active, hands-on role in shaping the organization’s public voice and global impact. From building our visual identity to engaging international communities, I’ve integrated creative digital tools and strategic communication to amplify our mission, with my supportive team volunteers absolutely!
In this Basic Digital Skills World Pulse Training Story, I have combined all of the lessons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, together for your reading and learning pleasure.

I design impactful graphics and digital content using platforms like Canva and Adobe Spark to highlight our educational programs, humanitarian aid, and women’s empowerment campaigns. These visuals have been essential for donor engagement and cross-cultural communication.
Several months ago, I held a Masterclass on Nonprofit Governance in November/ 2024, I didn't know i could rant on and on about what I had learned and the challenges about nonprofits we still face today, yahoo!

Through video editing and storytelling, I bring our work to life—capturing success stories, field updates, and global partnerships. Using tools like iMovie and CapCut, I’ve created video content for awareness campaigns and donor outreach, helping humanize the work we do on the ground in Senegal, USA, Ghana and beyond.

I also coordinate video conferencing sessions with international volunteers, partners, and collaborators, including organizations from West Africa to South Asia. These virtual meetings—hosted on Zoom and Google Meet—are vital for program development, training, and strategic planning, especially as we expand our cross-continental education initiatives.
One of my proudest achievements has been leading social media campaigns that raise awareness about critical issues such as ending female genital cutting, youth education, and sustainable agriculture. Through consistent messaging across Instagram, Facebook, and X, I’ve grown our global following and mobilized supporters for special projects, including our Queen Sheba Agriculture Farms and the under-construction Queen Sheba Education Social Center.
Here are a few WP Initiative Campaigns that I am constantly updating from time to time as Updates are available in the countries in which we are serving below:
Building Social Empowerment & Education
In recognition of this work, I received the Humanitarian of the Year Award (2011) and was honored as an Igniter Fellow through the Guzakuza African Women Agriculture Fellowship, earning two awards for innovation and leadership. Our most recent international collaboration includes a partnership with Sombhana organization in Bangladesh, building an English language initiative for students in both countries which I recently posted here: English Without Borders: A Cross-Continental Language Learning Collaboration.
And finally, lesson 6: Who would I like to have a lunch date with and why?
There are several outstanding extraordinary individuals that I have always admired that comes to mind and now are two of my ancestors who have passed on in the bazarkh(another realm).
Harriet Tubman- Araminta Ross
Malcolm X - Al Hajj El Malick Shabazz
Both endured extreme challenges, gained remarkable strength and earned gracious wisdom in their journey on this planet. Their lives continue to teach us many things about endurance, hardship and faith. May their souls be blessed and granted high paradise by almighty GOD. Amin.
Until the next training, thank you for your reading and your time.
