Aspiring careers that do not materialise as they grow up.

Many girls in my community dropped out of school as early as 12 years due to lack of role models, parental guidance on good morals, issues to do with sex and sexuality support as they were growing, some lacked financial support from parents which forced them to indulge in sexual relationships so as to get financial support from peers or even older men. Iam working with community leaders to get the girls back to school and to empower elder women with reading and writing skills first and then offer trainings and skills on livelihood activities that can sustain their lives and future. To start with the girls, I want to make sure they access full primary school educationfor free and then proceed to secondary school with the help of busarries because secondary school is not for free here in Malawi. In the course of learning, the inniative will include life supporting income generating activities and startups so that they can learn and at the same time support their little ones. . As for the women and later boys, will be giving them free udult literacy education for free and make sure that at the end of their course they are as well trained on various livelihood skills and given start ups so that they can support themselves and be in a position to support their families and the children who at the end of the day are victims of early marriages and pregnancies worse still school dropouts due to lack of proper support from parents. Not only that but also organise career talks and counseling on how one can fulfill the aspiring career journey.As of now we only have the place where both back to school and livelihood trainings will be conducted but we do not have udult literacy books, teaching and learning materials as well as livelihood trainings funds.This inniative needs solemy depends on the world out there, donating books and all kinds of materials will be highly appreciated. Iam well trained and have the expertise and will give in time money and anything I can manage to but I cant do it all on my own, Together We Can, TOWECA is the moto.
