This past Monday, August 3, 2026, was National Watermelon Day!
INSHA ALLAH, long before August 3, 2027, Palestine will be free, but if it is not, we, people of America should declare Palestine Day!!

Be a child a day anywhere in the world fighting against a child a day in Gaza being murdered by Zionists, imperialists, racists, colonizers, thieves AKA devils. Parents anywhere in the world, please, please encourage your child to be a child a day who cares about a child a day that the horrific Zionist devils don't care about.
a child = 17 years and 364 days old and younger
A watermelon seed a day; a child a day. A CHILD A DAY IN GAZA BEING MURDERED AWAY MUST BE TAKEN VERY, VERY SERIOUSLY; VERY, VERY SERIOUSLY. THIS IS A KIND OF CATASTROPHE THAT I FEEL MOST OF US ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR. AS MARJAN ASI SAID VERBATIM SHORTLY FOLLOWING OCTOBER 7TH AND ALL OF THE ZIONISTS' WEAPONS PULLED OUT, IF MY MEMORY IS CORRECT, ALLAH, PLEASE FORGIVE US.
"THE PEOPLE ARE THE PROBLEM" IS A NEW POEM AND SONG I WROTE WHILE WALKING TO THE GROCERY STORE, TROUBLED, PERTURBED, FRUSTRATED BY THE MASSIVE SUFFERING OF OUR WORLD, THE MASSIVE SUFFERING OF TOO MANY PEOPLE IN OUR WORLD, AND DEEPLY PONDERING AS I OFTEN OR REGULARLY DO. TAKE IT FROM A PERSON IN THE ENVIRONMENTS, A MEMBER OF THE SOCIAL ENVIRONMENTS (AT THE MOMENT, IN THE DMV) DOING QUALITATIVE RESEARCH UNASSIGNED BY A UNIVERSITY CLASSROOM DAILY, THAT IS, EVERYDAY, AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE AMONG THE GROUPS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE THE MOST PROBLEMATIC. AS ONE WHITE AMERICAN SENIOR AGE MAN SAID TO ME DURING A VERY BRIEF CONVERSATION THAT THE TWO OF US HAD, ONE THAT HE INITIATED WITH ME A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO, WE LIVE IN AN UNKIND SOCIETY. INDEED, AND LARGELY BECAUSE MANY, MANY, MANY AMERICANS ARE UNKIND, UNKIND TO EACH OTHER, UNKIND TO THEIR BLOOD FAMILY MEMBERS, UNKIND TO THE PALESTINIANS, UNKIND TO MUSLIMS, UNKIND TO THE POOR, UNKIND TO THE NEEDY, UNKIND TO EVEN ANIMALS, AND UNKIND TO MANY OTHERS. "THE PEOPLE ARE THE PROBLEM" when the people care more about the seeds that they spit out of their mouths when eating watermelon during the summer than they care about the beautiful watermelon seeds we see in the Instagram post of Hazami's (shared @mothersagainstgenocide) who have returned to their CREATOR as martyrs because of an enduring genocide, a genocide that endures because "THE PEOPLE ARE THE PROBLEM."
Often said by people who are the problem as pertaining to them addressing social injustice, There's nothing we can do. It's amazing how this is not said when surmounting odds are against them trying to get into a university of their choice or when trying to get hired by an employer for a particular job. I say, To hell with there's nothing we can do. "THE PEOPLE ARE THE PROBLEM." Often said by people who are the problem and many of them referring to themselves as Shias or as Sunnis, We have to just pray. Is this said by these same Shias (one I had a beautiful conversation with and her teenage daughter and friend listening in last night whose solution was for me, a real Muslim because of my choice to go hard because of as she said my religion and because of my principles, a better Muslim than her because I wear a hijab and she does not which I said to her was not true (Does solely the wearing of a hijab define what a Muslim is, define how good a Muslim is, or what a Muslim is not?)) when trying to purchase a house they really want to buy in a very competitive buyers' market? Besides me making a prayer, nothing more was said by this "Shia" for me to do or for her to do though she very much applauded me for what I've been doing and continue to do that I very briefly informed her of. She who presented with a very caring, generous, humanly spirit said to me, We are Shia, and we are waiting for the Mahdi to come, she who called Iran a regime because the people of the government are not real Muslims if they have people in poverty in their country and when they have homeless people on the streets. We have to just pray. Is this said by these same Sunnis when the odds against them are so high to get into med school or into a PhD program? No, it is not. Instead, they ask themselves, What can I DO to get in? What more can I DO? We have to just pray. Often said by people who are the problem and are emotional when learning of the latest developments in war-torn, oppressed lands and the latest developments of the ongoing massive suffering of the people of these lands. For example, I wonder if the tears of the lady I met again in Rockville two weeks ago, which certainly appeared to come from a place of sincerity and empathy, turned into actions. The truth of the matter, people who are the problem, is there's plenty we can do, and there's one critical thing that we absolutely need to do, something extremely high priority, AND THAT IS LIBERATE MAKKAH. LIKE THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH), THE ONE WE CLAIM WE LOVE, WE REVERE, AND WE DESIRE TO FOLLOW PRIORITIZED, WE MUST PRIORITIZE THE FREEING OF THE HOLY LAND OF THE KAABA, THE HOLY LAND OF MAKKAH AND MEDINA, FAMILIAR TO MANY AS SAUDI ARABIA, THAT HAS BEEN COLONIZED AND IS BEING CONTROLLED BY ''TYRANNICAL RULERS" (IMAM MUHAMMAD AL-ASI). LIBERATING MAKKAH IS THE MEANS BY WHICH PALESTINE WILL BE FREED AND THE MANY, MANY OTHER OPPRESSED LANDS AND THEIR RESPECTIVE PEOPLES INCLUDING THOSE OF THE CHILDREN. WE, AT LEAST THE MUMINS (IF WE TRULY ARE WHAT WE CALL OURSELVES OR THINK WE ARE) OF THE WORLD, MUST GET TO IT SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY.
In the spirit of advocating for the innocent lives of child watermelon seeds, the bitter bit me the day before yesterday (Friday) morning and at the restaurant front of a child killer Mc Donalds, the sweet kissed me the day before yesterday (Friday) night. As Imam Asi said during a Friday Khutbah once, There are good people, and there are bad people. And AL-HAMDULILAH, ALLAH AL-AKBAR'S rewards greeted me early yesterday (Saturday) morning. Learned from an Imam in Birmingham, England (I don't recall his name) during a presentation given by him and shared with my siblings via a gift of the CD, إِن تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ (In tansurullaha yansurkum wa yuthabbit akdamakum) If you assist the deen of ALLAH, ALLAH will assist you. This is how he translated this Ayah. It is from the Holy Quran in Surah Muhammad (47:7). I'm reminded now that I must learn how this Ayah is translated by Imam Muhammad al-Asi in the works he authored, The Ascendant Quran. How does he describe the meanings of this very important Ayah?
With enduring solidarity with watermelon seeds and the others of us who are gravely oppressed, INSHA ALLAH,
Najwa Kareem
