Women need Love

"Women need love" is not just a saying, it is a fact. As a Christian the Bible instructed men to LOVE THEIR WIVES, it says husband love your wives.

The Bible knows women function properly in an atmosphere filled with love. And love can be translated into Protection, Provision Professing, and Support. Love is not a feeling or a lust or butterfly when you think about some.

You protect what you love, you support, provide and take good care of what you love. It doesn't have to do with convenience, it is a thing you do at all time.

Women are to be treasured because they are treasures, "where a man's treasure lies so is his heart". A treasure is not maltreated, it gets to a point that some loose their lives in protecting their treasures, this is how women should be valued.

I layed all that background to make us understand women are to be treated well, in their homes, marriages and even in the society.

I am a strong advocate of say no to toxic relationship, domestic abuse and an Abusive marriage because I've seen how it can break and reduce a woman.

There was this colleague of mine that was a victim, every now and then she come with different stories of how she fell and home and bruised her face, the story didn't stop it continuoued. And this day I went to her and told her I know her husband beats her, that she has been in an abusive marriage. She wanted denying it I told her I know because my sister was in one and it was the same story she was always giving. I got close and she opened up and admitted she was in an abusive marriage, I told her why was she still in the relationship? She said "because of my children, he told me if I should leave I won't see my children again". After sharing her story with me I was heart broken and I remembered how my sister also held onto an abusive marriage because of her child and hoping one day he'll change but he never did.

I asked her, what will happen to your children if you should die? She was mute. It is better to be alive for your children than being dead.

I went back spoke to some sisters and we helped raised some money for her to get an apartment and moved she and her children there. We told him well go to the authorities if he should go look for her. I kept visiting and made her see a therapist. I thought her how to make hair and we raised small money for her to start up small business along side the hair making.

Now she has found her feet, she is taking care of her 3 children and she's safe and happy.

We don't have to be going through this, the society needs to be a safe space for our girl child, our Ladies and our women.
