Project Title: Women Empowerment for Peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
Project Overview
Women in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) play a crucial role in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and community resilience. However, they continue to face gender-based violence, economic marginalization, and exclusion from decision-making processes. This project, Women Empowerment for Peace, aims to strengthen the role of women as leaders, mediators, and change-makers in peacebuilding efforts across the country. By providing training, advocacy platforms, economic empowerment, and psychosocial support, this initiative will equip women with the skills and resources needed to drive sustainable peace and social stability in their communities.
