Where hate is taught more than love

BREAKING GENERATIONAL TRAUMA

We live in a world where hate is taught more than love, often for selfish gains.

be a wise listener, don't believe easily. (why does it matter?) I am a human. You're a human. I am another you. How you react to things or certain situations will reflect on your future and someone else's.

No parent would want their kids to go through another trauma.

THOUGHTS ~ REALIZATIONS

When I was a kid, I used to believe easily, like they would tell me “this and that,” and I would respond with “ah okay.” It wasn't until later that I started to dislike someone based on rumors. I then asked myself, “what if I'm wrong?”, “what if they're wrong?”, or “maybe I am just one-sided?”

They told me that “These people are bad” (referring to other races). But in reality, when I’ve met people from other races, they’re not bad at all. It was completely the opposite of what I had been told about them.

And as I grow older, I realize more and more the importance of sticking to my principles in life.

~I will not criticize someone based on what I've heard, only if I know him or her personally.

It’s easy to spread hate (which results in an unending cycle of hatred)

It’s very difficult to heal trauma (high levels of depression and anxiety)

The courage to be liked. The courage to be disliked.

THRIVE TOGETHER

So, to all moms out there… we know how difficult and heavy it is to carry trauma. But as much as possible, we should start teaching our children to love one another with kindness and respect —not based on status, race, or beliefs, —for they will pass on our teachings from generation to generation. It’s wonderful to see our children loving each other regardless of our differences. I know there’s only a small chance if this works, but to be ambitious about changing our children’s narrative, why not? Is it really impossible?
