HEHA Kenya is seeking passionate volunteers from Europe, America, and beyond to join us in transforming the lives of villagers, disadvantaged children, youth, and women. Your contribution can help us uplift these communities and make a lasting impact.

We invite you to not only volunteer, but also experience Kenya’s rich culture and enjoy the beautiful, conducive weather.

We are also open to exchange programs where we can learn and share ideas together. If you're interested in the following,

1. Mentors and Life Coaches

Role: Provide guidance, personal development, and life skills training to women, children, and youth.

Skills Needed: Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, experience in counseling, or coaching.

Examples: Mentoring young women on career choices, offering life skills workshops to youth.

2. Educators and Tutors

Role: Facilitate educational programs, such as literacy, numeracy, and academic tutoring for children and youth.

Skills Needed: Teaching or tutoring experience, patience, and a passion for education.

Examples: Offering after-school support, teaching basic computer literacy, or leading adult education classes for women.

3. Health and Wellness Volunteers

Role: Promote health awareness, conduct workshops, and offer basic health services.

Skills Needed: Background in healthcare, nutrition, fitness, or mental health.

Examples: Running health checkup camps, conducting mental health awareness sessions, and fitness classes for youth and women.

4. Skills Development Trainers

Role: Teach vocational skills to empower women and youth economically.

Skills Needed: Expertise in a trade or skill such as sewing, baking, computer skills, or entrepreneurship.

Examples: Organizing workshops on tailoring, basic IT training, or small business development.

5. Childcare and Activity Support Volunteers

Role: Assist in childcare programs or organize recreational and educational activities for children.

Skills Needed: Creativity, patience, and a passion for working with children.

Examples: Planning art, storytelling, games, and homework help sessions.

6. Fundraising and Resource Mobilization Volunteers

Role: Help raise funds, write grant proposals, and mobilize resources for the organization’s programs.

Skills Needed: Networking, fundraising experience, communication, and writing skills.

Examples: Organizing fundraising events, identifying donor opportunities, or drafting grant applications.

7. Community Outreach Volunteers

Role: Connect with the local community to spread awareness and ensure participation in programs.

Skills Needed: Communication, cultural sensitivity, and community engagement experience.

Examples: Conducting door-to-door awareness campaigns, organizing community meetings, and promoting programs.

8. Event Organizers and Coordinators

Role: Plan and manage events, workshops, and community initiatives.

Skills Needed: Organizational skills, attention to detail, and event management experience.

Examples: Coordinating women’s empowerment seminars, youth sports tournaments, or awareness drives.

9. Social Media and Content Creation Volunteers

Role: Help promote the organization’s activities and projects through digital platforms.

Skills Needed: Content creation, social media management, photography, and graphic design.

Examples: Creating awareness through posts, managing online campaigns, or documenting success stories.

10. Counselors and Psychosocial Support Volunteers

Role: Provide emotional and psychosocial support to women, children, and youth facing challenges.

Skills Needed: Training or experience in counseling, active listening, and empathy.

Examples: Leading group counseling sessions or one-on-one support programs.
