We have been on this journey and walking side by side with our team members but we now enjoin a World Pulse member on this Collaborative Initiative “Stronger Together” as we make formdable strides together to ensure no girl or young women is left behind due to period poverty - in this award

The Tunaweza Project current reach is within Ndhiwa Constituency of Homa Bay County, with a potential to scale within East Africa enlightening girls on the essence of Sexual Purity, Abstinence and Family life – nuclear and community

The employment of

Art; Allowing each girl to use their drawing and share what they go through, where they are and where they anticipate to be

Peer Sessions; Solutions to any problem cannot be found without engaging the problem. Who better than your very own peers to share your life journey on the aspect of sexuality especially where a safe space has been provided through the initiative

Sport; Some have gone through sexual abuse and trauma and the best healing point is through sports which like art has its therapeutic effect

Technology; The world has become a small village thanks to the digital space and not impact can be counted as made if we fail recognise the positive strides technology has made and hence the use of social media platforms such as tiktok videos and Instagram posts which they easily relate to in addition to in person sessions and discussions the team will be having with the girls
