Women strengths
I grew up surrounded by women who carried the world quietly on their shoulders.
They woke before the sun rose and rested long after the night had settled. Between those hours, they held families together with patience, sacrifice, and a strength that rarely received applause.
I remember watching my mother move through life with a calm determination. Even when things were difficult, she carried herself with dignity, as if she knew that storms pass but character remains.
In Yoruba culture, there is a saying: “Obìnrin kì í ṣeré ìjà; ṣùgbọ́n agbára rẹ jinlẹ̀.”
A woman may not fight loudly, but her strength runs deep.
For generations, women have been builders of homes, keepers of traditions, and quiet architects of the future. Yet their stories are often hidden between the lines of history.
That is why days like International Women’s Day matter. Not just to celebrate women, but to remember the countless sacrifices that shaped the world we live in today.
Across communities and cultures, women continue to rise. They rise as leaders, educators, mothers, activists, and storytellers. They rise not because the journey is easy, but because resilience lives within them.
Platforms like World Pulse remind us that when women speak, the world listens differently. When women share their experiences, they create bridges of understanding and solidarity across borders.
Today, I celebrate the courage of women everywhere — the loud voices, the quiet fighters, and the ones still finding the strength to speak.
Because every woman’s story matters.
Every woman’s dream matters.
And when women rise together, the world rises with them.
