An ai fura, adorable as can be but lives to fight

One thing I love about my Fura race is they carry a punching toy because their arms are short. Theirs is not a toy but meant to knock you off balance... In their language it is Kiss for defense and kill for punching :p

My girl has her own set that she began practicing with when she was only 9 or so. Her trainer is a traitor to our people and trying to get her to give up fighting. The trainer got rotten eggs to simulate the smell of the air way up high on the Fura planet... She hates to have any sort of weakness so practices so hard to conquer this. I threw in how her trainer always wrote how she was difficult, did not follow orders, was more like a pirate then a fighter sort of stuff in her official records and that attracted someone to her!

Her trainer convinces her that they only use the punch one not the defense one so she trained only using the punch, which helps make her famous in the galaxies because the fight is filmed and broadcast everywhere. I picture the scene in my head already. She and the Fura Diplomat are up the 20foot high beam and the tv crew down below begins to film out of curiosity for a quick sound byte but then she looks at the names and tosses the kiss to the ground. It makes all the Fura who live to fight excited and the air becomes electric...

but I am wondering how hard it is to make one of these! I would need about 6 pairs for the tv show in case any break sort of thing... I am not the best at gadgets but think it is cool and would like to try to make my own! I was thinking maybe just get some boxing gloves but the extension part...hmmm... Timing is everything and you release it to knock them off the beam to win... I will play with it once it is time! I picture the kill one hanging off of the higher belt and the kiss one on the one next to the pouch ;p

I am in a good mood but dread this weekend as I go back and forth on my stories! but I think it helps make it better. I put it away for awhile until I forget the story then read it again fresh. Sometimes I see how good it was and others i see the flaws... but no one is perfect so never be too hard on yourself. I know how hard it is not to be too critical but it should be a pleasurable work effort and not a strain!

I hope you do not mind these, sometimes it helps me seeing it in this form...
