GROWTH AFTER THE DREAM

Beyond the First Door From Dream to Courage and Proving Your worth.

Cinta had dreamed about this day for years. From the time she wore her oversized school uniform and carried books almost bigger than her arms, she told everyone, “One day I will work in an office like a professional woman.” She studied, struggled, sometimes doubted herself, but she never stopped moving.

Finally, the email came—she had got the job in the profession she loved. Her heart danced when she read the words: “We are pleased to offer you…” She imagined the smart clothes she would wear, the desk with her name, the respect in people’s voices when they called her “Madam Cinta.”

On her first day at the workplace, everything felt new and bright. The building was taller than she imagined, the corridors smelled of fresh paint, and the people walked with purpose. She kept smiling, telling herself, “This is where I belong.”

But on the second day of orientation, something changed.

As she listened to the long explanations about targets, deadlines, and expectations, a small voice in her mind began to whisper.

What if I fail?

What if I’m not as good as they think?

What if this dream is too big for me?

Her excitement slowly turned into worry. That evening, she sat on her bed thinking about all the “what ifs.” She almost forgot how hard she had worked to reach this place.

Then she remembered something her mother used to say:

“Worry is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do but takes you nowhere.”

Cinta realized that fear would not write reports for her, worry would not earn her respect, and doubt would not build her future. Only action would.

The next morning she walked into the office differently. Not as a scared girl, but as a young woman ready to learn. She asked questions, carried a notebook, observed carefully, and treated everyone with respect. She reminded herself:

I may be new, but I am not useless.

I may be learning, but I am not weak.

I may be afraid, but I am still capable.

Day by day she began to prove her worth—not by making noise, but by showing commitment, honesty, and willingness to grow. She understood that a job is not just a salary; it is a place to build character, confidence, and purpose.

Cinta’s story teaches every young lady that getting the job is only the first door. The real journey is believing in yourself after you enter. Worry will visit, fear will knock, but success belongs to those who choose action over excuses.

And like Cinta, every girl must remember:

Know what you want, work for it, and let your value speak louder than your doubts.
