Personally, I never knew there was a platform like world pulse not until my Girlfriend told me her story was featured in World Pulse.I asked her, what's "World Pulse" like I never heard of it.She later told me it is a platformed designed to connect women and allies so they can share stories, access resources, collaborate and drive real world social change.Like I was surprised because that was like news to my ears,I never knew such an incredible platform existed that is uplifting women voices.
I later asked her if also us men can actually join and share our stories and maybe innovations because she knows I love science and research. At the time I was doing a research on one of my biogas innovations. She advised me to join and share my research innovations.Personally,I love spending most of my time in books and in the web always doing research because I am a science student,I do a lot of biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics.
When I first heard about World Pulse from my girlfriend ,I imagined a vibrant global space where voices from every corner of humanity met ,men and women standing shoulder to shoulder, sharing stories, shaping solutions, and lifting each other up. With curiosity lighting my path, I signed up into World Pulse in the 23rd of October, ready to learn, contribute, and connect.
But the moment I stepped into the platform, I felt a quiet shock.
As I scrolled through stories of resilience, leadership, and courage, I noticed something striking, very few men. Page after page carried the powerful voices of women speaking their truths, challenging injustices, and rewriting narratives that had silenced them for generations. Their strength was undeniable, their unity inspiring… yet I could not ignore the question forming in my heart: Where are the men?
For a brief moment, I felt like a stranger walking into a space I had not expected. But that feeling did not push me away ,it pulled me closer.
The more I read, the more my surprise transformed into admiration. These were not just stories; they were testimonies of perseverance. Women were not simply asking to be heard, they were creating a world where every voice mattered.
And slowly, something shifted within me.
I realized that World Pulse was not “mostly for women” as I had first assumed. Instead, it was a platform courageously correcting historical imbalance,a place where women could finally speak without interruption. Rather than seeing my presence as unusual, I began to see it as necessary.
Because progress is never meant to be a one sided journey.
True change happens when we stop viewing each other as competitors and start recognizing each other as collaborators. The struggles women face are not women’s issues alone. They are human issues. When one part of society is held back, we all move slower. But when we walk together, we move further.
Being in that space taught me humility. It taught me to listen before speaking. It taught me that advocacy is not about dominating conversations but about strengthening them.
Most importantly, it inspired me.
I began to understand that men have a role to play not as saviors, not as spectators, but as partners. Partners who support equality. Partners who challenge harmful norms. Partners who believe that empowerment is not a threat but a shared victory.
Imagine a world where more men joined platforms like World Pulse not to overshadow women’s voices, but to amplify them. Imagine the power of mutual respect replacing silent division. Imagine boys growing into men who see strength in empathy and leadership in inclusion.
That is the kind of future worth building.
Today, when I reflect on my first moments in World Pulse, I no longer remember the shock,I remember the awakening.
I joined seeking a platform, but I found a purpose.
Now, I carry a simple yet urgent message to my fellow men: There is space for you here. Not to compete, not to correct, but to connect. To learn. To stand beside rather than apart.
Let us move beyond the outdated belief that gender advocacy belongs to one side. We are not rivals fighting for attention,we are partners shaping tomorrow.
Because the strongest societies are not built by men alone or women alone. They are built when both rise together.
So I choose to champion this call: more men must step into spaces like World Pulse. Let us replace silence with participation, distance with understanding, and hesitation with action.
After all, the future does not ask whether we stood against each other.
It will ask whether we stood together.
