Sharing Knowledge, Gaining Happiness and Pride

In my community, many young women lack access to vocational training. This often limits their opportunities to build a career, support themselves financialy, or simply learn new skills that can bring pride and joy to their families. Seeing this gap, I decided to take action through my association by creating a small vocational training initiative focused on practical skills, including pastry training, digital literacy and language learning in English and French. I believe that sharing knowledge is a powerful way to empower others.

One of the most rewarding parts of this journey is seeing some of my students speak a foreign language with confidence, even if it is not perfect. What matters most is that they understand the value of learning and believe in their ability to improve. Young people today are eager to learn, and I believe that teaching can have a lasting impact on their lives. When they grow up, they will continue learning and seeking opportunities.

Kids in my community

During one of my pastry training programs, I met a participant named Nancia. She had always dreamed of baking professionally but had never had access to formal training. Through the program, she learned essential baking techniques and gained the confidence to start practicing on her own. With dedication and determination, she was able to bake independently and even made a small wedding cake. Seeing her progress made me incredibly proud.

By sharing skills, encouragement, and time, we can help women discover their potential and believe in their abilities. What started as a simple training initiative created a ripple of change: new confidence, new skills, and new possibilities.

Through my work, when I have time, I strive to support women and young people by offering them knowledge, mentorship, and opportunities they might not otherwise have. At the same time, I always remind my students that while learning foreign languages like English and French can open many professional doors, we should never forget our mother tongue. It is part of our identity, and it deserves to be valued and promoted.

My vision is a community where every woman can dream big, acquire practical skills, and contribute meaningfully to society. When we support one another, even through small actions, we create ripples of change that empower women and strengthen entire communities.
