Within the World Pulse community, support often begins with small but powerful acts - a word of encouragement, an opportunity shared, an initiative begun. These moments impact women’s lives, and over time, they help drive progress through grassroots communities.

Aligned with this year’s International Women’s Day theme, #GiveToGain, we’re inviting our community to reflect on how giving support to another woman or girl created change, and what became possible because of that choice.

Tell us about a time you actively supported another woman or girl.

Support can take many forms. It might be a word of encouragement at the right moment, connecting someone to an opportunity, sharing skills or resources, offering your time, or simply being present when it mattered most.

Awards and recognition

Stories and initiatives submitted by March 20, 2026 will be considered for World Pulse Story and Initiative Awards, with honorariums ranging from $100–$300 USD.

Award winners will be announced at the end of March.
