Shadow Play

I believe I already wrote one like this when I first joined World Pulse but I fond this pic and made me smile. As you can tell by my posts today I was looking at my writing blog called Bride of Sorrows when I found some of these pics. A lot were lost when Photobucket closed down, or rather wanted money I did not have to keep the photos available.

Photography is a passion of mind but most of my life is packed away in storage until I can buy a house in a few more months! So I am left to reminisce about it all instead of doing it :p and decided to take you along for the ride...

The picture still makes me smile though I can not quite remember when and where it was taken. My best guess is at UAA because it seems to be a window with big plant that brings to mind UAA hallways.

But the play of shadows has always fascinated me. I mean, shadows can be scary late at night, or even caught at the corner of your eye, but for the most part they awaken the imagination.

The model was wearing normal clothes but the pose brings to mind a vaguely Egyptian feel to me because of her one hand... that makes me wonder what she would look like, what the plant would be... such an exotic place brought to mind accidentally when I wanted to capture Shadow!

Maybe someday I will talk about my thoughts of Shadow as a living thing or group... but today I am just full of whimsy and silliness so decided to share it with you and hopefully ignite your imagination too.
