Hello everyone,
My name is Mathi. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, a Master’s specialization in Econometrics, and I am currently pursuing a Fellowship in Public Policy Management.
I am working on a research project that examines the relationship between religious ethics and women’s rights. Specifically, the study looks at how certain religious norms, interpretations, or practices—across time and contexts—may conflict with or violate the fundamental rights of women.
This project follows a case study approach, centering lived experiences rather than abstract theory. If you have personally experienced or witnessed situations where religious beliefs or practices restricted women’s autonomy, dignity, bodily rights, education, mobility, or economic freedom, I would be grateful if you chose to share your story.
Alternatively, you may choose to respond to a set of 15 structured questions, answering them in your own words. Your responses will also meaningfully contribute to this study.
Participation is completely voluntary. Your identity can remain anonymous, and your story will be used strictly for academic research and publication purposes, with due sensitivity and ethical care.
The goal of this study is not to target faith itself, but to amplify voices that are often unheard and to critically examine structures that impact women’s rights.
If you would like to contribute or know someone who might, please feel free to reach out.
Your voice matters, and it deserves to be heard.
This is my first time doing a primary case study research on my own, so I am open to critics.
Please do contact me through this platform:)
Thank you.
