Christmas night found me sitting gleefully alone, curled up in a chair watching this years CNN heroes special. Shows like this prove that humanity still has a chance. If you follow all these inductees lives, you find that many of them didn't specifically "set out" to do what they've done; their lives just evolved. In some instances, it takes money to be a hero, in many instances, it just takes random acts of kindness.
