Pure Path Sensitization 2026 Update

February 6th, 2026: Choosing the PURE Path
February 6th, 2026 is a day I will always remember.
Our team visited C.A.C Comprehensive High School with one purpose: to help students understand that their choices matter. I am deeply grateful to my mentor, Mrs. Fasola, whose guidance and belief made this work possible. Her support reminds me that behind every community effort is someone who first believed in the vision.
During the session, we spoke about PURE, a simple but powerful guide for decision-making:
P – Purely
U – Upholding
R – Respectful
E – Ethics
In a world filled with pressure, silence, and harmful influences, PURE serves as a compass—helping young people make choices rooted in dignity, responsibility, and self-worth.
To make this message real, I shared the story of Gift.
Gift was a good girl—a pastor’s daughter, disciplined and full of promise. But one decision altered her path. The friends she chose slowly led her into situations she never imagined herself in. The consequences went beyond her, affecting her family, her future, and her faith. As I spoke, the room grew quiet. Gift was no longer just a story; she was a reflection of what can happen when guidance is absent and pressure is strong.
Then a moment of courage changed the atmosphere.
A young girl raised her hand and asked, her voice trembling,
“What if a girl is being molested by her own parents?”
Her question carried fear, pain, and bravery. Speaking about abuse in a public space—especially where silence is often expected—was an act of courage. It reminded me that many children suffer in silence, unsure of who will listen or protect them.
Later, away from the crowd, another student approached me privately. With tears in her eyes, she shared her fear that she might not be able to continue her education because her parents could not afford it. She did not speak publicly, but her pain was just as real. Her dream was at risk—not because she lacked ability, but because poverty stood in her way.
These were not isolated experiences. They reflect the realities of many girls in communities like mine—and across the world—who face abuse, financial hardship, and life-altering choices far too early.
At the PURE Path Sensitisation Programme, every child is given the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and be heard—whether publicly or in private. We create safe spaces where students understand that their choices can either make or mar their lives, and where they are guided to choose respect, integrity, and ethical living.
That day at C.A.C Comprehensive High School reaffirmed why this work matters.
When a child finds the courage to ask difficult questions, someone must be ready to answer.
When a girl quietly shares her fears, someone must be willing to listen.
When silence threatens to shape a future, education becomes an act of hope.
This is not just a local story. Across the world, young people are navigating pressure, abuse, and limited opportunities. What they need are safe spaces, ethical guidance, and consistent support.
I left the school knowing that while we may not change every life in one day, one conversation can change a direction. And by continuing to show up, listen deeply, and teach intentionally, we can help more children walk the PURE Path—a path of dignity, respect, and possibility.
We got an approval to visit 17 secondary Schools
In the first week of our Sensitisation programme we visited 4 secondary schools:
Lord reigneth group of schools
Mary Hill High School
Ajolagun High School
C..A.C Comprehensive High School.
We reach 922 boys and girls. I will continue to share lessons, challenges and impact from this Programme.
