Period and personal hygiene

Personal hygiene and menstrual health is a very crucial aspect of a lady well being. It should there fire be an important topic to be sensitize on to teenagers and girls growing into adulthood.

While growing up, in secondary schools, sanitary pad company (Always) was frequently visiting my school and other secondary schools in my town to empower and sensitize young girls about menstruation, adulthood and how our personal hygiene is very important to our sound health whilst supporting with free sanitary pads and journals to keep us updated with our body changes.

However, it's unfortunate that as I grow up into adulthood, I noticed high increase in the cost of pad and no company or organization is out there sensitizing, empowering, providing information and amenities for young girls about their body changes as the grow into adulthood, hence we can all see the gaps in the lives of today's teenager as most of them didn't even know the basics of personal hygiene to keep themselves being healthy.

Hence this is a call out for help and support, to start sensitizing and supporting the young girls in our society and surroundings today, even if company and organization aren't helping out, we can start individual support to those young girls around us.

Help a girl out today.
