Numbers Don’t Tell This Story

Yes, we can say “100 girls reached.”

We can say “4 schools engaged.”

And those numbers matter. They help us track progress.

But the real impact? It’s much more personal than that.

It’s a girl who barely spoke on the first day, suddenly raising her hand and sharing her thoughts.

It’s a girl who was unsure about staying in school deciding, “I’m not giving up.”

It’s hearing a quiet voice say, “I can lead,” and actually mean it.

It’s a girl practicing how to say “No”, and smiling because she realises she’s allowed to.

It’s watching girls laugh a little louder, sit a little taller, and walk a little prouder by the end of the week.

It’s the way they start encouraging each other.

The way they clap for one another.

The way they say, “You can do it,” without being prompted.

It’s the moment a girl writes in her journal, “I didn’t know I was strong.”

It’s when she stops shrinking herself to fit into small spaces.

Impact is not always loud.

Sometimes it’s a mindset shift.

Sometimes it’s a brave sentence.

Sometimes it’s a new belief quietly taking root.

And those small shifts?

They grow into confidence.

They grow into leadership.

They grow into girls who stay in school and step boldly into their future.

That’s the kind of impact I believe in.

And that’s the change I want to keep creating.
