My struggle as a mother

That feeling of loving your child completely while grieving the financial and professional identity you had is so profound. It’s a sweet, quiet sadness that many mothers share.

Motherhood is this strange, beautiful math. You gain the whole world in one tiny person, but you lose little pieces of yourself along the way—like sleep, sure, but also the ease of your own dreams. I’m a teacher, a nurse, and a mother... but right now, I'm just trying to remember how to be the woman who paid her own bills. It’s hard, but loving her makes me brave enough to try for that next chapter. I promise her I'm still reaching for the sun. ✨
