My Introductory Story

My name is Melissa, a second-year international nursing student from Nigeria. I am passionate about breaking barriers to education and empowering women, as it reflects a challenge I am still working through personally.

I joined World Pulse to connect with like-minded individuals, learn from diverse perspectives, and explore ways I can contribute globally.

I am inspired by music and the desire to build a stable and successful future. I value my Nigerian culture deeply, especially our traditions and food.

My English name, Melissa, means honey. My tribal name from my father’s side is Amali, meaning “one and only,” as I am the only daughter. From my mother’s side, I am Nenrit, meaning “God is good.” I am proud of all my names and what they represent.
