My First Expressive Letter

Dear Monica,

Greeting from my heart and soul! I’m so happy to be with you and have you as my mentor and I’m really blissful for this wonderful journey. I know you will be here to help me, thus as I haven’t known you ever before but I feel something inside and it is like a little sign of hope that I am not doing in vain and I feel that you have the friendly soul to mine.

I’m 23 years old lady and I live in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I’m volunteering for Soroptimist International Phnom Penh as a Project Officer and I’m now pursuing Master in Development Management at Norton University, Cambodia. I feel so familiar with you and I’m also happy to learn from your experience. I’m sure even we live far a part but our hearts will be connected through the mind and soul.

In these five long months, I’m pretty sure we will become a teacher and student, friends or partners and more closed relationship when we start to get to know each other more and more. I will follow you every step as you will be my dearest guider to find solutions to make a change to myself, my family, my community and my country. After spending 5 months being with you, I will be more self-confident & awareness and bring joy to my life.
