Her Sun Will Always Shine — The Story of My Daughter Imane Elaidi
This is the story of my daughter, Imane Elaidi — a young woman whose smile could brighten even the darkest day. From the time she was a little girl, Imane carried within her a quiet strength, a kindness that touched everyone she met, and a deep sense of respect and love for her parents. She lived to serve, to learn, and to spread joy.
Imane grew up believing that education was the key to changing lives. Her journey was never easy, but she faced every challenge with courage and grace. With unwavering determination, she earned her Master’s Degree in International Trade from Ticaret University in Turkey. Her achievement was not just her own; it was the victory of every young woman who dares to dream, to study, and to persevere despite the odds.
In 20/09/ 2025, Imane decided to visit Ghana — a simple family trip that turned unexpectedly into her final journey. She arrived full of light and laughter, but soon after landing, she fell seriously ill. From the airport, she was taken directly to Providence Specialist Hospital in Achimota, where doctors tried to understand her condition.
For five long days, she fought in silence, her faith unbroken.
Then, her beautiful soul returned to the Light.
Imane’s passing left an emptiness that words cannot describe. Yet even in her absence, she continues to teach — to inspire women of her generation and beyond. Her life reminds us that knowledge, patience, and perseverance are the wings that lift us toward our purpose.
To every woman reading this:
Keep studying, keep believing, keep serving others — because your light matters, just like Imane’s did.
And to every healthcare worker and decision-maker across the world:
Remember that every life deserves timely care, compassion, and understanding. Medicine is not only a science — it is also a language of humanity.
Imane’s story is not one of tragedy, but of triumph. Her sun still shines — in the hearts she touched, in the dreams she inspired, and in the faith she lived by.
Because Imane means Faith, and her faith will never die.
