Happy International Women's Day 2026 🌸

Today I celebrate the strength, beauty, and spirit of being a woman.

My journey with womanhood has not been simple. As a transwoman, embracing my femininity meant walking through moments of doubt, fear, misunderstanding, and judgment. There were times when the world made me question if I truly belonged, if I was allowed to live openly as who I am.

But deep in my heart, I always knew that the femininity I carry is not something to hide. It is something sacred. It is something powerful.

One person who reminded me of this was my late aunt. She once told me something that I will carry for the rest of my life. She told me to always be proud of being a woman and that I was on the right path. Her words came at a time when I needed them the most. Even though she is no longer here, her voice continues to guide me and strengthen my spirit.

Femininity is not weakness. Femininity is strength. It is resilience. It is empathy. It is the courage to love deeply and to remain compassionate even when the world can be harsh.

For too long, leadership has been associated with masculinity. But true leadership is not about dominance or aggression. Women lead with wisdom, with care, with emotional strength, and with the ability to uplift others. The world needs more of this kind of leadership. The world needs the power of femininity.

My journey has taught me that being a woman is not defined by how you were born. It is defined by the courage to live your truth and the strength to walk your path with dignity.

Today I celebrate every woman. Mothers, daughters, sisters, cis women, and every woman who continues to rise, nurture, lead, and inspire despite the struggles.

To every woman reading this, never doubt the power of your femininity. Your softness is strength. Your compassion is leadership. Your existence is powerful.
