Education is the best legacy

I have been wanting to write on this but timing hasn't given me the chance to.

Something happened in my 300l that I keep asking God that how he scaped me through it, if not I would have carried the course.

The course was a prerequisite course that prepare you for your project in 400l.

I attended class, did assignments, wrote tests, visited library, did night classes with my colleagues but I didn't know the course wasn't part of the courses I registered for that semester.

The day God did saved me was the day we had class in which it was like two-weeks to examination but the time-table isn't out yet. The lecturer took us as usual for the class and then I kept on screaming and screaming that "If you haven't register this course, do well and go register after the class". He repeated the words severally till I rushed down to the cyber cafe.

I tried using a friend's phone to login my portal to check all the couses I registered, it wasn't showing all.

I pleaded at the cybercafe to allow me glance through those courses I registered, when I saw it I nearly cried that the same course that lecturer screamed out is what I didn't registered.

No bi juju be that?

Ahh!

They already closed the portal as at that time, I came the next morning.

The cybercafe owner suggested I write letter to submit to the H.O.D and then to the M.I.S.

It was not funny🫩

Who I wan tell my predicament?

Imagine you that you are fully set to write exam but the God wey wan save you dey make sure say you do not re-take the course.

Getting to the HOD's office, he wasn't on seat on that day. I waited all day long for him till around 3pm.

He walked into his office, he saw that many students are already waiting for him... He asked the secretary to tell them to come in one after the other.😔

I kept on asking God to help me on the matter because my brothers must not hear and those time, I was staying with at my friend's place.

As the turn reach me, I told him the matter on ground, he approved my letter and told me to go to M.I.S for correction.

Getting to M.I.S, network no deyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, it was already 4:30pm and closing hour is 5pm. I was watching if they will send me away without providing solution to my problem.

For God to have his way, I was asked to submit the letter and that I should keep on checking my portal till the course is been added.

It was on Monday morning, the course was added. Hallelujah to my Jehovah!

I was so full of thanksgiving that day and throughout my examination season.

To every students out there, it is not only when you fail you have carry over ooo, sometimes it might be that you didn't register the course you attended it's classes, did every of it's tests or wrote it's exams.

Every lecturer of a course knows you by that.

You register my course, then you are my student.

You don't register my course, I have no business with you.

Be conscious of every courses you do in school so you won't make mistake.

God is counting on you to also be diligent at school😉😄
