For years, I have known myself as an actress — a storyteller bringing characters to life, expressing emotions, and connecting with people through the screen and stage. The entertainment industry became a place where I discovered my voice, my confidence, and my purpose.
But recently, life introduced me to another side of myself that I never fully explored before: hosting. Through the Maravi Heritage Show, I stepped behind the microphone not as a character, but as Georgina — a woman leading conversations, interviewing creatives, and creating space for stories to be heard.
At first, I wondered if I could really do it. Hosting requires confidence, listening, communication, and the courage to guide meaningful conversations. Yet with every interview, every guest, and every episode, I began discovering a new strength within me. I realized that growth sometimes comes when we step outside the roles we are comfortable with.
Today, I am proud to say I am not only an actress, but also a host learning to inspire, connect, and uplift others through media and entertainment. This journey is teaching me that we should never limit ourselves to one talent or one dream. There is always another side of us waiting to grow.
To every young woman chasing purpose in the creative industry: do not fear trying something new. Your next opportunity may reveal gifts you never knew you had.
This is only the beginning of another beautiful chapter in my journey.
