Daydreaming about my fiber art studio and then noticed it is 3am :p

I miss my fiber art studio, it is all packed away in storage until I can buy a house but that wont be for another 6 months maybe. I am so happy I am finally in Homer, I mean I talked about it forever but it just never happened. a perfect house would sell and none others came on the market then decided to just get down here and things will fall into place, a hopeful dream...

Besides writing I love most working with my hands. Lately I have been crocheting a sweater for my daughter to make my hands happy, that and working on my series called "Starfleet Alyeska" (yes, I know I probably can not use that word "starfleet' so it is a working title reflecting my love of sci fi.). My friends again played with ai and created this image:

I guess because I was trying to create a "grandmother willow tree" grandma coming out of the tree and it did not understand. So when they tried to create my "captain" she came out a grandma! So we tried again to make her younger and it came out cute.

In this alternate reality we are the Starfleet people instead of Star Trek ones :p A fun twist I think... The title pic is when they tried to add a star trek Uhura girl to the scene. She was supposed to be sitting at her desk but it put the captain and her chatting at a desk... cute... I am using a real graphic artist to draw my pics for my works, this was just for fun since AI sometimes comes up with cool ideas.

I love the idea and think it will shock the world when they first hear of it. Alaskan natives run the earth that was, long story how it exploded, but my tribe along with some others began running it. Notice we say running not ruling, world views are different to western ones...

You know I have been working on my BOS series for nearly a decade now, my Bride of Sorrows (BOS) one (at least I think I have talked of it on here) where she is cursed to die a thousand deaths by one who has the power to make it happen, but if you turn it around it also means 1,000 lives lived and this series tells the story of those lives in past, present and future!

Her lineage is awesome and while there is only 1 bride of sorrow each generation, there are many females and I began to wonder what they would think and do and that is where this story was born. I often see them as films or tv shows in my head when I am picturing the story as it happens. This new girl is NOT the bride of sorrows and knows it but feels the pressure to be as outstanding as she the tales of the bride describe that heroine.

She does not know yet that her trainer is a traitor to our People and has her training constantly and tells her it is building strength. So she misses out on making friends, building memories and all of that, in return she is strong and fierce as they come.

But I get tired of writing and my hands itch to felt once more! I was picturing what I would create, I am planning a Shaman-ish outfit and building a wardrobe around that concept.

I think I already told the story of the Cranes coming to my front yard when I was in despair at how things were going. So I am planning a wardrobe around the sandhill crane colors, if I have not talked about it, let me know if you want to hear and I can do a post. but this is what I began daydreaming about around midnight, played a game on computer then daydreamed again then it was 3am!!!

I think some days our soul just needs to imagine our path ahead and so I encourage you to always, always, always be creative in whichever way speaks to your soul! Think of it as you do food and shelter but for your soul! Life is more then dealing with pain and injustices and we need to share the good and the fun along with the changes we want to make in the world!
