I believe it is so important to express yourself in whichever way you like best or can do best maybe. I have been planning a wardrobe to go with my shaman outfit and find it challenging and relaxing.
It used to be called a "wiki walk" I believe where you ended up in places you did not expect to be following an idea. I loved it, you can find stories you would not normally find. I found one the other day looking for an image of my favorite quote: Look like the innocent flower but be the serpent under it." I found another fascinating one when trying to pic a Klimt painting to inspire an outfit.
I tried to link it but I guess you have to follow whatever path I did to see that page. It talked of way back in 1894 when they hired Gustav Klimt to paint "Philosophy", "Medicine" and "Jurisprudence".
The following manuscript was submitted to the April 2017 Arts in Medicine Themed Writing Contest.

I was smiling since it was a writing contest I found and had an interesting article. I had no idea he did way more then the Kiss. It was going to be my first inspiration for an outfit. but...

then I saw this one of his:
it looks like a wide brimmed hat, a sort of cocoon jacket, then a sort of sheath dress. I had to smile since i had decided my base would be sheath dresses done in fabrics and patterns, maybe 4 or 5 of them and then build around that. I am not going to try to copy the pattern exactly, that would drive me crazy. Instead I plan to find a blue fabric I like and create the sheath out of it. I am still wondering whether to nuno felt the cocoon jacket or make it of the same material as her dress. that will be decided later.
it was such a vastly different look, from golds and what i consider 'classic Klimt' to very different blue one. And all because it looked like she was wearing a sheath :p
