Change has landed

For the longest time, I wanted to be a pilot. Along the way, I met plenty of challenges. As we all know, pilot training is expensive . But it was my dream. Unfortunately, due to medical reasons, my dream could longer take off. So I had to find my next dream. I then studied digital marketing. Something I had never considered before.. I had so much fun during my studies. At the same time, I was trying to find my new career. With my heart still in aviation, I stumbled upon a charter flight affiliate program. Excited, I signed up immediately. I was so excited. Combining digital marketing and aviation seemed unusual but I wanted to go for it anyway. When building my marketing strategy, I realised something. Most marketing strategies targeted men. Although women were featured occasionally, men seemed to be the main target. We live in a time where women are gaining wealth without a man. Women are curating their own travel experiences so why are they still underrepresented in marketing? Even those that are featured,, it’s usually alongside a loving wealthy or high earning husband. What about showcasing businesswomen? What about women leaders? All these questions led me to one conclusion: this has to change. This is where QueenAir was born. I want to change the entire marketing landscape. It needs to be inclusive of women. Alone. QueenAir isn’t just a business. It’s a movement. It’s a fight for inclusion. Gone are the days where women could only access travel or luxury travel through wealthy husbands or wealthy families. Everyday, women are accessing wealth. Women love luxury travel so why are they not getting the representation that they deserve? I want to change all that.
