CANCER TURNED MY WORLD UPSIDE DOWN

Better late than never. Phone breakdown can't hold me back.

Indeed cancer turned my world upside.

I believed life was so smooth sailing and bright with people enjoying the best out of it until I realized these beautiful dresses, smile and makeup covers a lot of pain, hurt, suffering and shame.

But is cancer shame? No it can't. We didn't look for that, then why the shame? It is painful yet the strong ones stand up with them. Not until i worked with Cancer cases did i understand the depth of life.

Life is worth living but with pain, it is painful to choose living.

You don't know that the weight gain comes with pain.

You don't know that the weight loss comes with pain.

You don't know that the body odor is less of Her problem, the pain, the effect of the treatment is draining every life in her.

You don't know that hair loss is me losing my glory for what i didn't bargain for.

Cancer made the strong independent, pushful and bold lady become a shadow of herself, depending on others even for the self care.

The narrative has to change.

Cancer diagnosed is not the end of life. Its a beginning of a journey with a victory story to tell. A story of hope, fierceness, strength and boldness.

Every story is unique.

Every story matters.

You are unique.

You matter.

You are not alone.

We can join these strong ones in the fight and hold their hands to combat together and win the trophy.
